The Friends are celebrating their 40th Anniversary with a wine and small plate reception at the Haggerty Education Center. As part of the celebration we welcome back two old friends who have achieved great success and recognition in their horticultural careers since leaving The Frelinghuysen Arboretum, Richard Hartlage and Fred Spicer.

Over the past 40 years, the Friends have accumulated quite a number of pictures of a our activities. We have selected a number from each decade, scanned them (a tedious task) and will present them on individual digital displays throughout the afternoon. Watch them while you enjoy the small plates and see who you recognize from years past.

Catering by Encore

Wines and small plates will be served starting at 4:30 pm. These delectable treats include butler-passed hors d'ouevres and a fresh guacamole and taco bar.
