More Snow!

It just seems to be getting deeper and deeper outside, but I have just the tonic to get you through to Spring: wonderful indoor programs at the Arboretum. As the next item notes, we have just made it easier for you be accepting credit cards on our website.

FOFA Goes PayPal

You can now register for most Friends events on line using your credit card. We have added buttons to the events that will allow you to check out and pay online via PayPal, a well-known, international payments system.

Take a look at the Events page and see the buttons in place. It's really quite simple to use and we have put together our PayPal Help page to get you started.

While we encourage you to use the new system, we will continue to welcome reservations and payments via the mail. Questions about events and registration should continue to be directed to 973-326-7603. Questions about the online PayPal system may be emailed to webmaster@arboretumfriends.org.

Added Sections for Cooking Classes

Great news!

We still have a few spaces left in the new, morning session of Cynthia Triolo's next winter cooking class (Feb. 27th Teabreads and Coffee Cakes). The new section is from 9:30a to 11:30a.

If you are interested, reserve right away -- these classes book quickly.

Cabin Fever Movie Series

Cabin_Fever_Movie_Series_-_January-thAbout this time of year, the four walls start closing in and it's "cabin fever" time. If you are looking for a pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon, join us for thought-provoking, environmentally-themed movies and some excellent snacks. Perhaps you will be inspired to take a winter walk through the arboretum's grounds before or after the film to shake those couch potato cobwebs away. Movies are shown on the big screen, in the warm and comfortable Haggerty Education Center Auditorium.

Tu B'Shevat Celebration

For more children's events, mark you calendars for the January 30 Tu B'Shevat program featuring a concert at 1pm, crafts and tree planting to follow!
