Take advantage of all the great events going on right now at the Arboretum. See them all on the Events page of our website. Browse them there and sign up on-line while there is still room. Here are a few from our extensive list.

Also, check out our Garden Fact Sheets page for horticultural information to help plan your garden.

Winter Storm Clobbers New Jersey

This past weekend's storm left downed trees, power lines and frustration in its wake. We hope you are well into the cleanup process and that it was not too horrible. Also, we hope for prompt restoration of power for those still in the dark.

The Arboretum was not spared, with large limbs and small ornamentals alike suffering from the weight of this storm. Click on the poor broken hawthorne at right to go to a small set of pictures of the damage plus an illustration of pruning tips for your garden repairs.

Stuffing Four Ways Cooking Demonstration

Does your stuffing have you stuck? Tired of the same old dreary dressing? Want to try something new this Thanksgiving? Join Chef and Master Gardener Cynthia Triolo for this cooking demonstration and we will explore four different ways to make your stuffing sing! This cooking demonstration is sponsored by Whole Foods Market in Madison and is scheduled for Sun Nov 20.

Thanks for Thanksgiving

Young people in grades 1 thru 5 can make a Thanksgiving arrangement in a pumpkin that is perfect for either the holiday table or to take to someone else's Thanksgiving Dinner. Offered on Sunday, November 20.
