 Spring is in the Air
Every day in May brings new wonders in nature. The plants are splendid, the bugs and birds are flocking about. Don't let them be the only ones to enjoy Spring's bounty -- take a walk at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum this week.

 NYBG Bus Trip
Due to the complexity of reservations involved with this trip, we must commit numbers by the middle of next week. Accordingly, we ask that you make your reservation as soon as possible -- no later than Wednesday, May 25th. You may register and pay on-line using your credit card by going to our Events page. This will be a wonderful trip to a gorgeous destination, so don't miss out.
Rumor has it there are other gardens besides the Frelinghuysen that are worth visiting. Saturday, June 18th is your chance to find out as we travel by bus to the New York Botanic Garden where we will enjoy a private guided tour of their new exhibit "Spanish Paradise: Gardens of the Alhambra" in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory. Featuring flowing fountains, elegant arches and a broad palette of old world plants, this exhibit was designed and curated by world-renowned horticulturalist and garden historian Penelope Hobhouse.
Following the tour, we will enjoy a gourmet lunch presented by caterer extraordinaire Abigail Kirsch at the beautifully renovated Lillian and Amy Goldman Stone Mill. To view the historic mill, take the virtual tour.
After lunch, a guided tour by tram leads us through the gardens. Finally, spend some time on your own visiting your favorite part of the garden or gift shop or even stop to "smell the roses" in their outstanding Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden which will be spectacular at this time of year.
