Volunteer Request
If "My garden was spared" is on your list of "Things I am Thankful For" this Thanksgiving, or if you are looking for an excellent place to burn off some of those pumpkin pie and stuffing calories, please consider helping our friend Ken Druse.
Many of you enjoyed visiting his beautiful garden in Newton, New Jersey last year on a Friend's bus trip. Ken is a brilliant garden designer, award-winning garden writer and acclaimed speaker on all things horticultural. His garden was seriously damaged in three floods and the recent ice storm. He is asking for able-bodied volunteers to help him with the cleanup at his garden on Saturday, November 26 (snow or raindate is Sunday, November 27) Ken needs folks to rake, collect branches and other such tasks. The work party starts at 9:30 and Ken will provide a light lunch. For more information and directions, please email Ken Druse directly at natgar@aol.com.
Please use the word "Volunteer" in your subject heading.
Remember that all our events can be found on our Events Page where, we are happy to say, you can register and pay on line -- just click on the "Add to Cart" buttons on our Events page and Membership page.

These fine local companies not only support us at our various events, but they offer our members discounts. Just show them your membership card at time of purchase.
