We took a break after a very successful Plant Sale - Thank you to all of our shoppers and volunteers!The Edible/Ornamental GardenWhilst you are planting your summer veggies, please consider a place for them in your flower borders. To hear more about this way to re-think your planting scheme, register for The Ornamental/Edible Garden on Saturday, June 16 at The Frelinghuysen Arboretum. Connecticut-based garden writer, author and lecturer Karen Bussolini presents a thoughtful and thorough lecture on landscaping with edible ornamental plants. Karen’s talk will include ornamental gardens that incorporate edible plants as part of the design as well as edible gardens that are beautifully ornamental. If you have been puzzled as to how to combine these two categories of plants, Karen will provide inspiration and valuable information. Thanks to Master GardnersFinally, thanks to the Master Gardeners of Morris County, we also have a small, but lovely display of blooms at our front desk. Each of the flowers has their location marked on a label, so you can quickly map out a floriferous walk. Register for any of these online at our website or by calling 973-326-7603.
