On June 17 from 1pm – 4pm, The Frelinghuysen Arboretum will host “Hope Blooms: A Walk of Remembrance.” This afternoon of family fun, learning and celebration, is presented by Good Grief, Northern New Jersey’s premier resource for grieving children and their families. “Hope Blooms” will bring people together to honor and share memories of family members and friends. The event will feature music, light refreshments, craft projects for kids and adults and a fundraising walk of remembrance. A special highlight will be the creation of a labyrinth where participants will have a chance to leave behind a meaningful, reflective space at the Arboretum for the public to enjoy. This program is offered free of charge, reservations are not required. Visit www.good-grief.org to learn more.
