Mid-Autumn Moon Festival

The Mid-Autumn Moon Festival began as a Chinese harvest holiday, taking place just when farmers finished gathering their crops. Today, it is celebrated by Chinese and other Asian peoples as a time to give thanks for a good year and as an occasion to be with family. The tradition and myths of the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival center around the Moon. On the night of the holiday, the moon is full and bright, symbolizing harmony and wholeness. This event features traditional story-telling, crafts and food and is sponsored by UPS, Diversity Leadership Development Team.
