Planting a Pollinator Friendly Garden

Want to support the bees, butterflies and other pollinators that help make our planet green? Join us for some seed- starting and go home with a flat filled with soon-to-be pollinator friendly plants, like liatris, aquilegia, solidago and baptisia. Come learn with Instructor Kathy Salisbury, former Native Plant Society President and graduate of Univ. of Delaware’s Ornamental Horticulture program. Kathy will cover seed conditioning and starting, seedling care, hardening off, planting and care in the garden, and winter protection of first year plants.
