THERE IS STILL TIME TO SUPPORT THIS WORTHY PROGRAM, PLEASE SIGN UP TODAY
Even if you can't attend, please consider purchasing a ticket to support this program. Your generosity will help the Friends' mission to provide a scholarship to Landscape Technology Program students at County College of Morris, like Dave DePodwin (featured in last week's eblast), who work diligently to see that good landscape practices become the norm in our towns. We all benefit from such tireless dedication to the craft of garden design.
If you can attend, you will enjoy a presentation by well-known professional garden photographer Rob Cardillo. Rob will illustrate how he crafts sweeping landscapes and compelling plant closeups through a series of engaging stories. Using examples from his many books and magazine projects, he will show how he doesn't always get it right the first time and how perseverance and patience pay off in the end. You'll leave with new ideas and new techniques to help you find and translate your own vision of Eden, even if you only use an iPhone!
The presentation will be followed by a book sale and signing.
Light refreshments will be served.
Please click on the photo of Mr Cardillo for more information and to register.

SAD NEWS FROM THE FRIENDS
We recently learned of the passing of Barbara Nadolny, a long time Member of the Friends. Among many other things, Barbara was an enthusiastic gardener and was instrumental in helping with our Annual Plant Sale during the pre-sale setup work, contributing lots of much appreciated organizational effort! Her enthusiasm and love of life will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Barbara's Life will be held on Sunday, March 16 at 1:30 PM at the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship, 21 Normandy Heights Road, Morristown, NJ, just off of Columbia Turnpike near the Morris Museum.
Her obituary can be read here: Obituary of Barbara S. Nadolny | Madison Memorial Home
