VIRTUAL VIA ZOOM
Have you ever wondered what organic vegetable gardening is all about? In this session you will learn the basics about how to create and maintain an organic vegetable garden. The following topics are included: organic definition, understanding the basics of soil health, organic seeds, tillage, irrigation, fertilization, and pest/disease management.

Wednesday, April 16 - 7:00 PM
VIRTUAL VIA ZOOM
You don't have to have a large sunny yard to have a vegetable garden. You can enjoy fresh vegetables grown in containers on your porch, patio, or balcony. Learn how to plant and grow a variety of vegetables from seed or transplant. The discussion will include information on succession planting, as well as solutions to common pests and disease problems seen in home gardens.

HOME GARDEN CLUB OF MORRISTOWN FREE PROGRAM
Topiary Design with Marge Hulstrunk

Morris County Library
Marge Hulstrunk will demonstrate several different design styles to create beautiful topiaries suitable for your home or for special events using fresh and dried flowers, greenery, and fruit. Marge will also share tips from her many years of experience designing for a multitude of occasions.
Marge has been a professional floral designer for over 30 years. She teaches, designs, and lectures to garden clubs, horticultural organizations, historical societies and women's clubs throughout New Jersey. She has won top wards for her flower show designs and continues to be active at The Frelinghuysen Arboretum as well as being an active member of garden clubs in both New Jersey and Connecticut.

The Friends ran our annual bus trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show last week. By all accounts, this year's Show, Gardens of Tomorrow, was one of the best ever! Judy Snow was kind enough to share some of her pictures of the Show; if you weren't able to attend in person, enjoy Judy's photos!
