A Valentine Creation

Who loves you baby?

Marge does – and she will show you how much at “A Heartfelt Valentine” on Wednesday, February 4.

Marge is busy preparing and ordering supplies to make sure that you leave with a beautiful wreath to enjoy for years to come.

If you are thinking about coming please click the wreath to register on-line.

Bus Trip to Philadelphia Flower Show

March is just a blink away and with it comes The Philadelphia Flower Show.

This annual bus trip is like tonic for our winter weary bones with its acres of flowering trees and shrubs. Not to mention the retail therapy!

12th Annual Matilda’s Tea

Every year we celebrate the life and times of Matilda Frelinghuysen with the younger set.

The theme for this year’s Matilda’s Tea (Saturday February 21) is sure to please both boys and girls – it’s CHOCOLATE!

Children and their adults will learn the history of chocolate, feast on theobroma (wikipedia article here) goodies and make chocolate to take home and share.

The Tea Table Is Set

Benjamin Blackburn Scholarship Tea

Speaking of teas, adults should not feel left out.

On Wednesday March 25th, our annual Benjamin Blackburn Scholarship Tea will provide all the tasty treats one could ask for and a fabulous speaker too. Ornithologist, Randolph Scott Little lectures on Bird Sounds in Your Garden and will delight us with stories and sounds.

It’s all for a good cause – the scholarship is given annually to a deserving student of Horticulture at Count College of Morris.

Matilda's Café is closed for the season and will re-open in April.
