Andrea Wulf's Founding Gardeners

This coming weekend’s weather forecast is for clear and cold weather. Stay warm with us on Sunday, January 18 at New York times best-selling author, Andrea Wulf’s talk.

Her book, Founding Gardeners, is a fascinating read and her talk is sure to fascinate you as well. Last chance to register.

Bus Trip to Philadelphia Flower Show

All eyes are on the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society as it prepares for this year’s Flower Show.

We take all the fuss out of visiting. Why not travel in comfort with Friends on Thursday March 5?

Register here (click the image at right) and the only thing you have to think about is where to have lunch!

Benjamin Blackburn Scholarship Tea

Are you a bird lover? Then you will not want to miss this year’s Blackburn Scholarship Tea on Wednesday March 25.

Learn all the details about this program and register on-line here.

Read about the scholarship itself by clicking here. You may know a deserving candidate that could use this information.

Seed Starting

We know you cannot wait to get started on your “starts.” Margaret Roach has the skinny on when to begin:

Tabloid Gardens

Tabloids here in NJ write about Snooki or the Real Housewives.

In the UK, though, even tabloids cover great gardens, as seen in this Daily Mail article on seed-swapping parties.

  • Home Garden Club of Morristown presents Chris Rubino of Monrovia Growers on Wednesday January 21 at 1pm.

Matilda's Café is closed for the season and will re-open in April.
