Members-Only Preview Plant Sale

Have you registered for the Friday, May 1st Members Only Preview Plant Sale?

This Friday night do is the place to be for first pick of a great selection of plants for your garden. The preview sale is free to members, but registration is required.

Branching Out! Children’s Gardening Camp

Spaces in the Branching Out! Children’s Gardening Camp are open for July and August.

  • It’s not a sports camp, but jeepers, will your child be active!
  • It’s not an arts camp, but jeepers, there are a lot of great crafts!
  • It’s not a science camp, but jeepers, will your kid astound you with what they have learned!

Lilacs: An Old Fashioned Plant for Modern Day Gardens

The Lilac collection at Willowwood Arboretum is a fine one, with early, mid and late bloomers included.

If a lilac is in your garden now, or in its future, you may want to register for Lilacs: An Old Fashioned Plant for Modern day Gardens on Saturday, April 25.

Instructor Marc Zukovich does a thorough job of detailing lilac care and use and gives a great tour of Willowwood’s Lilacs.

Spring Break Photo Scavenger Hunt

The Spring Break Photo Scavenger Hunt is on. With a neat prize for the birds, this hunt will satisfy your need for an outside family-friendly activity.

It’s every day, 9am-3:30pm, from now until April 4th.

First Tour of the Season

The first tour of The Frelinghuysen Arboretum is scheduled for Sunday, April 12 along with the first Potting Shed of the season. No registration is necessary.

What a nice way to spend an early spring Sunday afternoon.
