Poet’s Walk and British Breakfast

Ready for the translation to this medieval rota of the mid-13th century? Then join us on Sunday June 28 for this and many other examples of British poetry at Poet's Walk and British Breakfast.

What's it all about? Learn the English history of the arboretum on this early morning stroll of the grounds with Superintendent Lesley Parness.

We'll stop along the way and share poems by English poets that celebrate all things green, followed by a bracing full English breakfast prepared by Chef, Cynthia Triolo.

A Little Night Music?

However - if you are not a morning person, how about "A Little Night Music?"

On Friday July 17 enjoy a concert by guitarist Alan Rigoletto and a plateful of sumptious desserts on the Waterwise Deck.

More tours? Yes!

  • Learn about the connection of many of the arboretum's plants to the Bible with agronomist and bible scholar Dr. Jon Greenberg. Register for the Sunday July 19th tour by clicking Morning or Afternoon.
  • How about a meadow walk with the kids? Plantsman Ryan Moore will entertain the entire family on Saturday July 25 out at Willowwood Arboretum as you stretch your legs and learn meadow talk at "Meadow Walk. Register on line by clicking here.

Affiliate Offerings

Two clubs combine this Saturday for a joint meeting of the Tri State African Violet Council and the NJ Council of African Violet Judges.

It's a pot-luck luncheon, so come along. No registration and it's FREE.
