A Winter Bloom

We didn’t think there would be a “What’s In Bloom” listing in mid January, but here it is. Jasminum nudiflorum, Winter blooming Jasmine, is two months ahead of schedule and blooming its heart out on a sunny lattice adjacent to the Scherer Garden. Click on the images to enlarge.

Community Garden Conference

Plant Dividend Question

We are considering what to purchase as a Plant Dividend this year. The Plant Dividend is given to all Members at the Plant Sale and throughout the week afterwards.

In the past few years, we’ve done canna, caladium and gladiola. This year, we are considering callas and lilies.
