The Invention of Nature

Not many botanic gardens can boast hosting New York Times best-selling author Adnrea Wulf. But Andrea is returning to us to talk about her new book “the Invention of Nature.”

Its subject, Alexander Von Humbolt, played a seminal role in how we view the natural world and lived an extraordinary life, even for a plant explorer.

Enjoy Andrea’s talk, chat with her over light refreshments and perhaps buy an autographed copy of this book.
