Concierge Library Service

Now that the dog days of summer are here, perhaps you are looking for a couple of good gardening books to enjoy from your hammock?

Our circulating library list is located here Peruse it at your leisure and then send an email to with your wish list.

We’ll pull the books for you and have them waiting at the Haggerty Education Center’s Front Desk.


Books may be borrowed by Members of the Friends of The Frelinghuysen Arboretum.

Keeping the Herb Garden Alive!

At “Presherbvation” on Sunday, September 11 you’ll learn many techniques for harvesting and preserving herbs.

Make herbal vinegar, infused honey and herbal salts, and scented sugars. What fun – bring a box to bring all of your goodies home in.

We’ll provide everything else.

If some of your perennials performance was less than stellar, it may be that they need dividing.
