Wales Trip - Bob Hemsen - Day 7 High Ganau Gardens
High Ganau Gardens. It poured while we were here and there was plant sale taking place on the grounds at the same time we visited. The owner had the house opened for tea and baked goods. We all crammed into a beautiful study for her to give us background then off we went. The gardens were conceived in 1922 by Henry Avary Tipping and overlook a valley.
This was the warmest most comfortable, warmest and inviting home on the trip. Not badly situated either.
Note the grape vine growing through the foundation, around a pipe and still producing grapes.
